Our fresh mackerel is a rich, oily fish with a firm texture and a distinctively savoury taste. It is wonderful when simply pan-fried with spices or grilled whole for a traditional weekend meal. How to use: Score the skin deeply a few times on each side before cooking to let marinades soak right into the rich flesh.
